Microsoft takes a stand - "I’ve been make my move towards touch"

Yes, those are the fine words from Microsoft’s Joey deVilla who is defending the company from claims by Ars-Technica (and T3ch H3lp) saying that “blogs don’t know what we’re talking about”. $150 Augen Android Tablet Coming to Kmart

The Gentouch78. Presumably, the 78 represents the 7” display and 800 x 480 display. One shocking aspect about this Android 2.1 tablet is that you can watch 720p HD videos on it. Powering the slate, a 800 Mhz processor and 256 MB of RAM slides itself in along with 2 GB of flash storage. Unlike Archos’ Android tablets, this one will have access to the Android Market. This all sounds pretty great in the year of the tablet but the downside is that you will have to drive your way to your local Kmart to get ahold of one. That’s right. Later this week, you will have to stop reading T3ch H3lp for a brief moment to get to Kmart. Can’t fathom doing that? We thought so. In that case, you’ll have to check out Velocity Micro’s $150 Android tablets.
