Hacked Kinect Can Navigate Through Windows 7

So the Kinect has been out for almost three weeks now, which apparently is more than enough time for interested parties to take apart Microsoft’s latest gaming concoction, peer into its guts, and see how it all works and comes together. And from there they’ve been able to come up with some pretty creative and practical utilizations of the camera technology, one namely is the ability to navigate through Windows 7 using nothing but gestures — Videos after the break!

Microsoft was on a roll with their original “I’m a PC” ads from a few years ago, but recently I think they’ve been drinking too much of Ballmer’s kool-aid because I have no idea how anyone could watch this commercial and not think they’re completely full of themselves.

But just so I get this right: Computers and this digital age is lame unless everything I have uses Windows?
