Why I'm not upgrading to the iPad 2 and you shouldn't either

As a warning, I really have no outline whatsoever for this article. I’m seriously just venting over my thoughts of what the iPad 2 and should’ve been. And in a way you could say this is for all of you who went out and bought the original iPad last year, and now are in pondering over ordering a new, thinner one.

So if you don’t mind a little spontaneous ranting, which shouldn’t come to anyone’s surprise considering you’re reading this on the internet, then don’t say I didn’t warn you. — More after the break!

Macworld reviews the iPad 2 Smart Cover

The iPad 2 Smart Cover has picked up a lot of attention, mostly due to the commercial dedicated completely to the new cover. When Steve Jobs was up on stage, talking about the launch of iPad 2 we couldn’t help but notice how excited he was about this thing. There was a solid 8 minutes dedicated to this over-priced hunk of Polyurethane during the keynote and we can only help but wonder — is the Smart Cover really all that jazz?

In 2001, The Screen Savers aird a series of episodes where Patrick and Leo built the Ultimate Gaming Machine 3.0, and it’s almost done. A series of Patrick’s processor screw-ups earns him the title of “Chip Fryer” and much to his regret, he will be working the weekend to get it done. Also, an appearance by Quake champion Thresh makes this the ultimate iPad 2 getaway.
