AP Stylebook Adds Great New Guidelines For Social Media

AP Stylebook Adds Great New Guidelines For Social Media

The Stylebook is the Bible to most modern day journalists - keeping them up-to-date on what nerdy grammar to use. The Associated Press has pushed out the latest revision containing a lot of changes for online terms.

For instance, “Web site” is now “website” and they are also separating out “smart phone” as two words, and allowing “fan”, “friend” and “follow” to be used as nouns and verbs - Read more

Moorestown powered handheld plays World of Warcraft

If you’ve ever wanted to combine your love of leaving the house, your kickin’ smartphone, and your World of Warcraft avatar, then you’re going to love what the folks from Netbook News found on the Computex showroom floor. It may not be an official World of Warcraft phone (which lets be honest is probably a good thing), but if you’re in the market for an aforesaid WoW playing smartphone then you can’t look much further. Spec wise it’s running a Moorestown chipset, and apart from that all we know is that it’ll have approximately 10 days of standby time. Now word on price or availability, but in the meantime there’s a video of it in action after the break.

Killzone 3 Teaser Goes Live

Remember back in 2005 or whatever, when the Killzone 2 trailer was first debut? Yeah, that was when the gaming populous was tricked into believing we were going to be playing a pre-rendered video extravaganza. And once Killzone 2 came out, well, it came and went with nothing but a whimper.

Well, here we are in 2010 and Killzone 3’s teaser trailer has just been unleashed to the world, and surprise… it’s nothing special.

Valve Replaces Portal 2 Event for "Surprise" at E3

Alright now, don’t get your hopes up too high Half Life fans, but Valve’s previously schedule Portal 2 Pre-E3 event has been slyly replaced with a “surprise”. The contents of said surprise are unknown but we all know what’s on everyone’s minds. We aren’t going to directly say it, so we’ll let the official letter by Aperture Science do the talking for us.

Aperture Science letter after the break!
