Gritty live action Mortal Kombat teaser... for a game or movie?

This may be one of the best original takes on an adaption of any kind in a long time. I mean, you just don’t see this kind of thing really, and since the fans of the source material aren’t all that tied to a set storyline there’s a lot that can be done here.

Is it for a movie, a game, or was it simply just footage from a movie test? We aren’t not 100% sure of as now, but what we do know is that it’s knocking on rated R’s doors, which just happens to be right up MK’s alley - More info HERE and HERE

Video - iPhone 4 hands-on Demo

Engadget has gone all hands-on with the new iPhone 4, and quite predominately demo the new FaceTime feature of iOS 4.

Things they note is that “it’s shockingly thin” and that “The build quality is really solid”. They even go as far to say that the screen is “easily the best looking mobile phone screen we’ve ever laid eyes on,” and Engadget has seen a lot of Smartphones! - Read more

So what does all this mean for Sense? Well, currently not a lot. According to the big cheese himself (HTC CEO Peter Chou), the company’s looking to broaden their horizons whilst also providing “the best possible mobile experience for customers today, tomorrow and into the future.” Now, we already know that Sense is going to be limited to Android (and HTC’s Brew MP) when Windows Phone 7 comes out, so what’s in it for Abaxia? Besides the obvious — joining one of the largest handset manufacturers to date — their just looking forward too “working closely with HTC1..” Read on past the break for HTC’s full press release.

Xbox 360 Review - Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

Prince of Persia has been in gaming’s blood for such a long time now, with its roots dating back to the times of the Apple II computer. But even though the series has had so many titles as of late, especially after the success of the reboot series on the PS2, I’ve only gotten to play the 2008 cel-shaded Prince of Persia and the one from this review right here. I may not be a huge fan of the series, but I did come into this with an honest opinion and an open mind, looking for a good time jumping off walls and stuff.

Video - Rinry's Ode to the Gamecube

RinryGameGame is quite the knowledgeable gal when it comes to gaming history. But it doesn’t take a Video Game Historian to know just how awesome the Gamecube really was, especially when it wasn’t all that long ago.

Sure, the PS2 and Xbox beat the stuffing out of the ‘Cube, but no one can deny how many great quality games were available on Nintendo’s little engine that could - Smash Bros. Melee, Wind Waker, and Metroid, just to name a few.
