Blackberry Playbook compared to the iPad - by Blackberry

As you can see, the Playbook totally destroys the iPad in every aspect of the web — but in Blackberry’s eyes, the web is about “performance” and not “usability + performance”. If you think hard about what a tablet means to most consumers, battery-life seems to be a number one priority, and the iPad has some sort of limitations put on performance in the name of battery life. Sure the Playbook seems to have more horsepower, but what is the battery like in the real world? — Plus, we really want to play with one (they look so cool!) before we make judgements.

PS3 Review - Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

After just one year, Ubisoft has pumped out yet another Assassin’s Creed game. Interestingly, they really promoted the new multiplayer aspect but it has a surprisingly fantastic singleplayer offering that improves on every little problem in AC2, while adding way, waaay too much for you to do on top of it.

2 Kinects and 1 Box create a mind blowing 3D world

2 Kinects and 1 Box create a mind blowing 3D world

This is real time footage monitored in 3D, and holy crap is it awesome! This basically turns real life into a video game, on the fly using 2 Kinect sensors and 1 lonely box. It seems sort of pointless to create a 3D world out of our 3D world (sort of like radio ventriloquism or under-cover ambulances), but this is cool nevertheless.

Podcast Ep. 13 - Riveting tales and a smattering of nonsense

When you listen to T3ch H3lp Podcast, you realize what interesting folks we are — bad Apple Store experiences, jailbreaking and useless $10 iPhone apps just to point out a few qualities we have. We have in-depth knowledge in areas never perfected, like giving FaceTime, typing at the same sound level as a yetti squeal and explaining the pure essence of loving Angry Birds. It’s a riveting journey of stories, tech news and a smattering of nonsense.
