Incipio Hive Gaming Case Review (for iPod Touch 4G)

Since the iPod Touch was declared a gaming console by Steve Jobs, accessory manufacturers have wasted no time in producing gaming specific cases for it. Incipio is no exception with their new Hive gaming case. As you can probably tell from the name and picture above, it is actually modeled after a bee hive. But do the funky styling and shape actually work in everyday use? — Our review after the break!

Remembering the Sega Channel

Sometime in the mid 1990’s Sega teamed up with a handful of tv cable companies and brought my elementary school self, and countless other children, the wonders of having access to upto 50 games on my Sega Genesis, all via an adapter that fit snuggly on the console’s slot and connected to a cable box. All I can remember of those times are sparkles and glitter, oh and Comix Zone. — We remember the Sega Channel after the break!

Portal 2 Space Core challenges Nyan Cat - SPAAAACE!

“Why? Because I love Space. Space. Hey lady, wanna go to space? YES! Dad are you in space? Why yes son I am. I am going to space — SPAAAACE!”

Some of the finest words ever spoken by a videogame character were spoken by the Space Personality Core in Portal 2. With the Nyan Cat meme in it’s prime,  on Youtube decided to jump on the viral GIF/Song mashup bandwagon and create this nerdgasm of awesomeness — now if you’ll excuse me, I am heading off to space.

Nintendo: 'Wii's online system was trash and we know it'

I’m just paraphrasing of course what Nintendo’s CEO, Satoru Iwata, said during an investor’s Q&A meeting, speaking on what they believe went wrong with the top selling console of this current gaming generation. Yeah, Nintendo’s like that. They have piles of cash lying right in front of them and they’re still sitting around wondering why it’s not bigger. — Read the confession after the jump.

Prism trailer - Coming to Youtube's near everyone

Hollywood could learn a lot about what makes good movies into great movies. Take for instance this here short film that’s due to debut on Corridor Digital’s Youtube channel on July 1st; an Asian guy and his geeky, ginger-headed friend break into a top of the line tech corporation and steal a highly sohpisticated device only to be transported to a world full of lasers and fast paced action, all set to a soundtrack that puts Daft Punk’s Tron score on notice.

XBLA - Outland Review

Back in the 90’s we were treated to all sorts of sidescrolling adventures, but that eventually dwindled when 3D modeled worlds and characters changed the way we looked at games. Now only on rare occasions do we even see a side-scroller, and let alone one that tries to change the mold of how we preceived them in the past. That is, until Outland, which draws upon the light and dark, polarity mechanic made famous in the insanely difficulty sh’mup, Ikaruga. How’s it translate onto a 2D plane? Flawlessly. — Our review after the break!

Learn the basics of HTML code

We have put these lessons together to provide anyone and everyone with a basic understanding of programming on the web. The end goal is a fully functional website built and designed completely by you. These lessons are intended to be lightweight, informative and easy to understand. The goal is to provide the reader with an enviroment that is easy to learn in. You’ll find that each new post covers only a few news bits of information. At the end of the posts, you can download a PDF document containing a “cheat sheet” with all the tags and important information you just learned. We also have some more rich content in the work that you’re going to enjoy. — More after the break!
