PS3 firmware 3.61 breaking L.A. Noire for some players

Potential game of the year winner, L.A. Noire, developed by reknowned games studio, Rockstar, has hit a bit of a snag after its release this week. According to some complaints made by PS3 owners, the game causes players to suffer odd “start and stop” activity, as well as random shut offs on their systems. However, fingers are being pointed to not the game itself, but rather the latest 3.61 firmware update that made PSN users change their passwords — More after the break!

Valve: "We're passing on E3 since we have no games to show"

Valve is for certain one of the most beloved developments studio in the gaming business by far. And how could they not be, what with their continuous teasing of Half-Life 2: Episode 3 with would-be surprises and half-baked announcements. Here’s the recipe for success in video games; make arguably the best FPS experience ever and then say you’re working on its sequel but then never release or talk about it ever again. Boom! Instant hit factory. — More after the break!

Want to hear Hipsters talk about music? -- You're welcome

We’ve seen them and we loathe them, hipsters. Even if you’re not into the whole music scene, or even are familiar with the cliques and groups of the time, hipsters can be spotted a mile away. And if you ever hear them talk, their conversation might sound a little like this skit done by the Harvard Sailing Team.

Lockitron - Use your phone to lock or unlock doors... from anywhere!

The concept behind Lockitron is simple: install a nifty deadbolt on your existing door, whip out your phone and access the app to lock or unlock your door — presto, you’re in and out. It’s still in “beta” testing, so you can’t put in an order for the new fancy lock system just yet, but there’s a big chance that this might become a reality. — Details and demonstration after the break!

A life-size remote control flying business man - We're not joking (Video)

Yes, you in-fact read the title correctly. This video shows a life-size remote control flying business man soaring through the skies using the 6 pounds of thrust provided by a 3 pound engine. The business man has the ability to launch like a rocket, but sustain flight much like an RC plane and be controlled from the ground. If you want to terrorise your neighbourhood with a flying busniness man, you can grab one here.
