Microsoft Games Studio feels Halo will find its way with new trilogy

It’s been nearly half a decade since the last we saw of Master Chief, excluding his easter egg appearance in Halo: Reach. But that hasn’t stopped the development of two full, new campaigns exploring the Halo world without the game’s main protagonist. Well, now that Bungie is out of the picture, Microsoft Games Studio head Phil Spencer would like everyone to know that Halo had taken a turn for the worst with the last two entries in the series. — More after the break!

Install Swype on your jailbroken iPhone - (Video)

Touch typing can be a bit of a pain, especially for first time touch phone adopters who’ve left behind their mini, physical qwerty keyboards. “Swyping” though is a lot more intuitive and fun, but it’s not available on iPhone… that is until now. Available as a free tweak for owners of jailbroken iPhones, now you too can Swype your way to the perfect “omgwtfbbq”.

PC - Puzzle Agent 2 Review

Puzzles, puzzles, puzzles! The second installment in one of their newest series, Puzzle Agent 2 is a very similar to something you’d find in a Professor Layton title but with quite a few more problems. A mix of point and click and puzzle solving, the game succeeds at being a somewhat enjoyable experience solely on the basis of it being an interesting and well told story along with some creative visuals. However, many of the puzzles feel underexplained and the lack of a more effective hint system make for more han a few annoyances in this otherwise enjoyable experience. — Our review after the break!

Xbox Music coming later this fall, will probably replace Zune marketplace

During this year’s annual Microsoft Partner Conference, Steve Ballmer connected the dots on speculation on such things as Skype, Windows 8, and even an upcoming Cloud-Based ERP service. While all of this is pretty interesting stuff, what really caught my attention was the talk of Xbox Music coming to 360’s later this year. — More after the break!

HTC HD7 (T-Mobile) review

We know we’re a bit late to the game with this one but recent advancements in the world of Windows Phone 7 really sparked our interest in the platform again. We looked at our hardware options and realized that the 8 month old HTC HD7 was still one of the best WP7 devices on the market. Since the phone isn’t exactly new, we’re going to have to take a slightly different approach in testing it. — Our full review after the break!
