    T-Mobile iPhone Coming in Q3?

We’ve heard rumblings about a Verizon iPhone recently but what about a more similar carrier to the one the iPhone is currently exclusive to? Say, one that uses GSM radios and SIM cards. Did someone just say T-Mobile? Though T-Mobile has yet to adopt the micro SIM standard, I bet they would jump at the chance of getting an iPhone. Another major issue is that the iPhone 4’s current antenna radios use a different frequency than the ones T-Mobile uses. A source from T-Mobile suggests that they have an 80% chance of getting the iPhone 4 this year. Recent AT&T adoption of some high-end Android devices might further suggest that they are preparing to lose exclusivity soon.

Motorola Portrait Slider In the Wild - DROID?

What? Another DROID leak? At least this time around it isn’t the DROID 2 again. Today, we have a mini portrait slider with the DROID eye logo on its screen. Is Verizon finally bringing DROID to the low-end? I think not. I believe this is a highly misleading leak. The general shape and size of the device would easily slot it in with the recently announced Charm and the leaked WX445.

Apple Magic Trackpad Hits the FCC

The so-called “Magic Trackpad” has been leaked around before but now it seems that the FCC has confirmed the existence of such a device. Model number A1339 is listed as a “Bluetooth Device” and the rough diagram in the FCC filing certainly fits the shape of the mentioned product. I feel that this trackpad would make so much more sense than Apple’s first attempt to bring multitouch to the desktop audience, the Magic Mouse. What’s strange is that there have been records of tests since October 2009. Continue reading for the FCC diagram!

    Intel's 6-core i7-970 Shipping for $899

AMD’s hexacore processors have been on the market for quite some time and it seems like Intel has finally caught up in this multithread race. The $899 Intel i7-970 clocks at 3.2 Ghz and packs a hefty 12 MB of L3 cache. This Gulftown based CPU is manufactured using 32mm architecture. Though a maximum overclocked speed was not mentioned, we’re guessing this processor will also use Intel’s “Turbo Boost” found on its other Core 2010 brothers. Now its time for AMD and Intel to fight once again on the hexacore battlefield! (but remember, safety first kids)…
