Geohot Starts Rap Battle with Sony
As one of the most prominent hackers online, GeoHot has been getting into quite a legal bind with Sony after posting the PS3 Master Key for everyone on the internet to use. And although he is losing that legal battle, he also seems to have lost something else: his mind. Here’s a video of him taking on Sony in another way, apperently through the power of rap?
First Impressions - Killzone 3 Multiplayer Beta
Killzone 2 released back in 2009 to critical acclaim, boasting fantastic graphics on the PS3, an enjoyable single player, and one of the deepest multiplayer experiences ever. Unsurprisingly, Sony’s released a multiplayer demo for their latest iteration in the franchise, Killzone 3 on the PSN. It contains one large map, all classes and three game modes — an extremely large package for the “Beta” title thrown on it, but if what I’ve played is any indication, Killzone 3 is shaping up to be one of the year’s best shooters out there. — More after the break!
First Impressions - Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo
Crysis made a name for itself when it debuted as a PC title with jaw-dropping visuals back in 2007. Ever since then, console owners have been waiting desperately for their shot to get in on the franchise’s awe-inspiring scenery. Well, the wait is all lot easier now that Crysis 2’s multiplayer demo has hit the Xbox 360 (exclusively on Xbox Live at the moment.) — Our impressions after the break!

Fallout: Nuka Break, Another Awesome Indie Film!
Hot on the heels of Beyond Black Mesa, yet another fantastic indie film has just been released, this time set in the Fallout universe. It follows the adventure of Twig as he and his companions desperately attempt to find some of that coveted Nuka-Cola. Nearly twice the length of Black Mesa, the film has some fantastic props, spot-on set design and some genuinely funny dialogue.

"Beyond Black Mesa" - Half Life 2 Indie Film is fantastic, jaw-dropping
Wow, just wow! Beyond Black Mesa is an independent film in the Half Life universe made over the course of two years with a budget of only around $1,200, but that doesn’t stop it from being absolutely fantastic! Clocking in at around 11 minutes, the video stars Adrian Shepard from Half Life: Opposing Force and features great action scenes, terrific music and, of course, Ravenholm. What’s not to love?
Valve confirms Cross-Platform Play of Portal 2, Free Steam Copy for PS3 Players
Although today’s news has been largely dominated by the announcement of various Square Enix related games, Valve slyly confirmed that PS3 and PC players would be able to play cross-platform multiplayer games with each other in Portal 2. Sorry Xbox 360 players, looks like their isn’t going to be any love for you guys any time soon. - Details after the break!
Activision Announces "First Strike" Map Pack for Black Ops
Surprising absolutely no one, Activision has announced, on Major Nelson’s official podcast no less, that the first map pack for Black Ops with drop on February 1st, exclusively on Xbox LIVE. No date was given for when we’ll see it on PS3 and PC but many are speculating that it will arrive one month later like what happened with Modern Warfare 2. Containing 4 Multiplayer maps and a Nazi Zombies level, it will still be overpriced at 1200 Microsoft Points or $15. Get all the details on each map after the break!
