Facebook Bans Google+ Advertisements (even from users)

Facebook for a very long time has been one of the worlds most targeted and successful advertising networks, displaying relevent ads to users and their friends. Your Dropbox account was unlocked for 4 hours last weekend, anyone could access it

Dropbox is one of my favorite services, and I am sure many of our readers have been using Dropbox for a very long time. We have managed to trust Dropbox with our files stored on their servers, and for the most part they seemed to have been pretty proficient in keeping them safe. Dropbox was such a wonderful service… until last weekend when their lack of attention to security became blatantly obvious.

If you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, you have missed all the news about LulzSec (Lulz Security). The group of self-proclaimed internet vigilantes are responsible for the PSN outage and bringing down Sony Pictures, the FBI, PBS, Fox.com and Xfactor (to name a few). They were initially praised for their proficiency in attacking “evil” companies, but recently, LulzSec’s reputation to the mainstream has turned sour.

“Don’t ask where I got this, and don’t ask for a source,” is how one member on Bungie.net’s forum started out his post concerning the possible leakage of critical plot details for Halo 4. According to Shadow 13th, who supposedly received information from someone who undiscreetly broke an embargo about Bungie’s supposed Halo Anniversary August celebration, a “new dark threat” is about to plague the universe, and it’s about to noneother than Master Chief himself to uncover the mysteries of the Forerunner planet Sigma 7. — Details after the break!
