Well that was fast! Just several hours after Apple announced their latest build of iOS and distributed said OS in beta form to developers, Musclenerd and Co were able to jailbreak iOS 5 on a fourth generation iPod Touch. According to current information, the jailbreak was achieved through an exploit in the limera1n jailbreak.
With the announcement of Nintendo’s latest gaming console, the Nintendo Wii U, company big wig Reggie Fils-Amie told website GameTrailers in an interview that the reel of demo games shown off during Nintendo’s press conference were not that of Wii U gameplay. Instead, when asked whether the footage came from PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, Reggie stated, “absolutely, because we’re talking a year away from when the console will launch.” — Details after the break!
I’ll say this; Nintendo had the perfect opportunity for complete gaming dominance today and they blew it. If I sound a little subjective then I’m sorry, but I’m still trying to process it all and justify Nintendo’s decision to go with this iPad w/ buttons in my mind instead of some serious hardware that potentially could ruin everyone else in the industry. — Images, details, games, and my disappointment after the break!

E3, Exclusive, Gaming, Geek Culture, Hardware, Industry News, News, Nintendo, Videos, breaking Press conference is now over — So far, the press conferences at E3 haven’t been all that hot (especially Microsoft’s), and there haven’t been any game-changing announcements. Here comes Nintendo, and word on the street is Nintendo’s press conference could save E3 2011 and blow our minds, so lets see what happenes!
How will Sony impress the crowd after what went down in the last 60 days? Being hacked multiple times and having their customers personal information leaked into the hands of hackers (it was Sony’s fault for not encrypting it). What will they announce? It’s that time again to sit back and see the old guys at Apple get all hot and bothered over the newest stuff they’ve created. This time it’s OS X Lion which is the biggest step forward for OS X in a very long time. With new stuff like launchpad, mission control, full-screen apps and auto-saving, you can tell it’s going to be an interesting year for Apple — especialy after they announced iCloud.
Master Chief was wrecked on a floating ship off somewhere in the middle of God-forsaken space the last time we checked on him. But even with him so far away from the planet he once called home, it seems he’s needed once again. Spartan 117 has been awoken by Cortana and is ready to do it all over again, though I’m not sure why they call it Halo considering all of them were blown up… right? — Details and video after the break!
