Microsoft’s OS, while a dominating piece of software in the work place and around the world, has been losing traction with Apple’s simplistic iOS mobile operating system. Though iOS focuses more on mobile devices (iPod, iPhone, iPad) its core values rely on hiding all the files, folders, and application jargon that confuse so many casual users. So to compete Microsoft has adapted the sleek Mertro UI style seen on Windows Phone 7 handsets, as well as also giving people the option to work within the normal desktop and icon’s interface we’ve known for so long. While the CG portion is only about the first minute of this 5 minute video, it gives a look into the vast and solitary world that Samus experiences in Super Metroid. And actually, it was Metroid’s 25th anniversary earlier this month, and so to commend the occasion Shinesparkers released a tribute album dubbed Harmony of a Hunter — Download HERE
