HTC seems to be hot under the collar, and they have done it - they have filed a patent complaint against Apple and they are asking for a complete ban on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod. Now, we all have to look at this in reality’s terms:
HTC: Hey, Apple! Stop selling those iPads, iPods and iPhones (shakes fist)
Apple: LOL! - Someone get them out of our hair, give em’ a shuffle or something…
Oh snap! No one saw this coming, and man oh man is this one hell of an announcement - and if you are wondering, yes the Verizon/Google… “Vro-ogle” (thats what we’ll call it) tablet is running Android and is bringing some major buzz to the headlines as this, again, was not expected at all. It’s been just over one year since the original release of Street Fighter 4, and Capcom has already released a new updated version. It all started when fans were crying foul without the inclusion of T. Hawk and DeeJay, but once we got leaks that they were on the way, along with 8 other fighters from Street Fighter’s past, as well as new stages, gameplay improvement, and new moves; well, it was safe to say that they had me at 10 new characters. Is it worth the $40 big ones even if you already own the original copy? For me, it was an easy decision: YES! And I’ll tell you why.
Steve does not hate Adobe, he hates flash - and just like a lot of web designers, he wants flash gone. For years Apple and Adobe have been fighting with the gloves off over putting Flash on the iPhone, and for weeks, Flash fans have been frusterated over the lack of Flash on the iPad. What we fail to notice through all this is the events that followed at the Web 2.0 Expo justified what Apple has been trying to do for the past 3 years.
You’d have thought that touch enabled laptops would be common place by now, right? I mean at least I did. But what I hadn’t thought about was that there has never been a REAL notebook, as in not a Frankenstein tablet/laptop mix, that has had a full touch enabled touch screen. So imagine my shock when I learn of the the new HP Pavilion dv6 and dv7 series, which will offer an optional touch enabled monitor.
