So here’s what happened; Someone found a couple lines of coding within OS X Lion’s iChat that point to some interesting developments that might integrate the desktop IM service with the upcoming iOS iMessage (SMS replacement) app. The idea isn’t as farfetched as it seems, since Apple is trying its best, and not always successfully, into simplifying and unifying its services. — More after the break!

Reports are coming in that the iPhone 5 is currently in production, however isn’t being made with iOS 5 built in… yet. See the thing is that the latest software for Apple’s next iPhone and current iOS devices doesn’t have a finalized build yet. And so to not delay the phone any more than it might already be, iPhone 5’s are in full swing production but will have iOS 5 installed right before they go into packaging. — More after the break!
We knew this fateful day was coming but this has hit everyone like a deer in a pair of headlights. No one expected it to come so out of the blue, especially seemingly right before the unveiling of the highly anticipated iPhone 5, and the subsequent release of the iPad 3. While each of us at Okay Geek have our own personal feelings for or against Steve-O, we’re sad to see him go as the guy we love to love, or love to hate. — His resignation after the break!

Interesting how when blogs post rumors they’re taken with a grain of salt, whereas whenever the Wall Street Journal posts anything it’s pretty much taken as fact right then and there. I guess that’s what happens when you got your hands in all kinds of cookie jars and probably have plants and moles to feed you intel from afar. I’m just kidding. Anyway, today’s rumor/fact is that the iPhone 5 will be carried on Sprint very soon. — More after the break!
