Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright join forces with gameplay footage to prove it -- (Video)

“Objection!” and “Aww… professor…” are just a few quotes you’ll no doubtedly be hearing a lot of when the upcoming Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney mash up gets released next year in Japan. No word yet on an American release, but with each of the games from both series winding onto US shelves we don’t think there’ll be any issues localizing this dream cross over.

Zelda Skyward Sword gets impressive new look into its multi-faceted gameplay

You may have thought you knew all you needed to know about Skyward Sword, but after Nintendo guided us through an extravagent new look at all the new gameplay features hosted in this new game… well, let’s just say you’re going to be impressed. 3DS 'Slidepad' will retail for around $20 bucks, out in Japan Dec. 10th

At Nintendo’s Pre-TGS event, which just happened to be livestreamed across the inter-webs, the company lifted the veil off the uncertain future of their 3D handheld machine, the 3DS. Trailers and announcements led the way but the ‘Slidepad’ cradle that attaches itself to the system and adds a second circlepad was mysteriously absent. Rumor - Wii U going through production woes, developers are 'lost'

What is key to the success of any new hardware in the gaming industry? Software — i.e. games! Developers are the heart and soul to any new console hitting the market, since what is a shiny new controller supposed to do without any games to interact with? Breaking: Famitsu magazine leaks images of 2nd circle pad accessory for Nintendo 3DS - (Pictures)

Nintendo seems to be a hot mess these days; reeling back from their outrageously high-priced 3DS (which I bought launch night) with a price cut and subsequent Ambassador (apology) program for cheating people outta their money. Well, now reports that the rumored 2nd circle pad accessory has been proven true thanks to Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, blowing the lid early off Nintendo’s pre-Tokyo Game Show event September 13th. — More after the break!
