Nintendo: Wii U will do stereoscopic 3D but it won't be our focus

While Nintendo’s 3DS handheld is all about displaying all 3-Dimensions without the use of glasses, they’re not too keen on bringing that experience to the home console. In fact, their big executive sort of just shrugged it off in a, “yes, it will have that feature but it’s not a big deal,” quote. Brentalfloss works Star Fox into Bowie's Space Oddity -- (Video)

This isn’t a parody, but more of a tribute if you will; a clever adaptation of David Bowie’s Space Oddity, thrown together with Star Fox and his compadres, all done in a colorful puppet world. Overall, it makes for a wonderful rush of nostalgia and gaming bliss brought to you by the talents of Brentalfloss and Underbelly.

Nintendo: "We won't be publishing Pandora's Tower, The Last Story, or Xenoblade in NA"

Well, so much for that — After a well engineered movement created by fans called Operation Rainfall, which was designed to bug Nintendo to the point of having to localize Japanese games Pandora’s Tower, The Last Story, and Xenoblade in North America, Nintendo has shot down any immediate possibilties of that happening in the near future. Cave Story 3D gets delayed until November 8th

While, yes, the 3DS is a technically monsterous device, it continues to be plagued by a lackluster library that refuses to give up any quality release dates to upcoming games. This time another game has been lost to the waves of time; Cave Story 3D has been knocked back from its initial August 9th launch to a November 8th release. All while Star Fox, Kid Icarus, Super Mario, and Mario Kart all remain in limbo. — Details after the break!

Miyamoto: "Don't expect the best online experience on Wii U"

It’s no secret that the Wii’s online functionality was a less than stellar experience. Nintendo has since made it known that they wish to rectifiy the notion of laggy gameplay and friend codes with a couple of quotes here and there. However, Miyamoto doesn’t seem to be helping when he decided to throw in his two cents, saying that having the best online experience isn’t their goal with the Wii U. — Details after the break!

Animal Crossing ads make me remember how great Nintendo's old ad campaigns used to be - (Video)

Remember when Sega did what Nintendon’t? Or when Dracula’s lifeless head was held by a soldier on the cover of Nintendo Power? Yeah, it’s sad to think that a whole generation of players nowadays can only remember the “Wii would like to play” ads made in a post-Apple world. I hope this Animal Crossing / Real World parody gives you a chuckle at least.
