Gadget Review: GoPro Hero HD Camera

 

If you have ever watched shows like the Office or The Hills, most shots in the car are used with little cameras like this one or even this camera specifically.

The device is easily my favorite sport, live action, beat the crap out of camera. It's not only cheap, strong, with amazing attachments for cars, bikes, boards, helmets, jet skis, everything! The new HD version shoots 60FPS and it makes me love it even more.

We know that HTC comes out with a slew of new phones every year, and they are all pretty sweet. Who knew that all the secret phones that are coming 2010, we now all know about. There are 4 types of smartphone, which can be running Windows Mobile and Android. This ad starts to make a good point, 'our 3G is faster' and it is a solid argument. Then things get ugly, first off you for sure get faster 3G, but in 10% of the area of verizon. So yes Verizon may download a bit slower, but to get the full AT%T speed, you need to be standing in the parking lot of an AT&T broadcast terminal ( theres a map for that ). What makes this commercial so "not awesome" is the fact that Luke Wilson shakes his own hand like a wet fish.

Google Chrome extensions just came out, and you should be excited. If you have ever used Firefox, you know all about addons and Chrome extensions are just like addons. They have a bunch of neat little apps for you to try. For those of you that have tried the extensions, you may find they are just not up to par, so your not ready to ditch Firefox just yet. TechCrunch put together a neat list of addons for Chrome, and they are all a must try.

If you already have extensions enabled (lucky you), you are welcome to try the ones in this list. If Chrome is not allowing extensions for you just yet, try to upgrade to the developer’s version (don’t worry, all of your Chrome settings will be saved).

Apple's 12 Days of Christmas in the UK

It's been customary for Apple to give out a song or two for free to help discover new artists. And just like last year they've decided to do it with a "12 Days' of Christmas" - all the songs being Christmas related. But this time it will include all media, such as free music, music videos, apps, TV episodes, or films, from some of the biggest performers from around the world.

The free stuff will only last from Dec. 26, 2009 to Jan 6, 2010, and each will only be available for 24 hours. This for some odd reason is only happening in the UK iTunes, which I believe you can access from American versions too if you switch which nations you view. Users can sign up for daily e-mail alerts at the promotion's official Website.

Mass Effect 2 will be on two discs, Collector's Edition detailed

Probably my most anticipated game for 2010, Mass Effect 2, is going to have a feature that will read your save file from the previous game, so that your previous choices will affect the entire series. If a character died in the first game, they will stay dead in the second one. With the great graphics and hopefully improved shooter elements, Mass Effect 2 is shaping up to be an excellent experience.
