Real Life Iron Man - Guy makes his own Iron Man war suit

If you thought that you could make an Iron Man suit out of metal, try to do it better than this guy (impossible). This is what it includes -- Wrist rockets with laser, Mini Gun simulated fire and drop lock system, Movie accurate Arch reactor, and armadillo-like Mid-section with movable plates. The suit is made by Masterle247 at the superherohype forums, and he also plans to include stuff like a brushed metal finish, Replusor gauntlets and a remote firing system. You need to check out these pics (lots of them).

Alex Albrecht: 'I am shocked at how cheap the Apple Tablet will be'

Last month on Diggnation, a hilarious weekly podcast hosted by Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht, they had a guest on by the name of, John Hodgman, you may know him as the PC who uses a Mac, but the main point is the Apple Tablet was brought up in the discussion and apparently Alex knows a fair bit about the product and after some persuasion and rough petting from Kevin and John, Alex tells us that "he is shocked at how cheap the price point was". Sounds to me like we have a little fly on the wall, or "he is just makin' shit up".

Liquid Image outs Summit Series Snow Camera goggles ahead of CES

It seems that Liquid Image has just announced a there new camera-equipped ski mask, swimming goggles, and scuba masks just in time for show at CES 2010. The Summit Series Snow Camera Goggle 335 boasts a 5MP still camera capable of shooting D1 720 x 480 resolution video at 30 frames per second with audio. That's very impressive for such a small camera as well as still not changing the form of the goggles from normal ones. It's got 16MB of built-in flash memory, expandable to 16GB via its microSD / SDHC slot. You can get around 2,200 still images or over 2 hours of video per charge on the lithium ion battery. Liquid Image expects shipments of the Summit Series goggles in summer of this year(kind of late for snow season) with a price of $149.
