iPhone 4 also coming in White - Leaked

Click to view full imageWell, this was pretty expected - but some pleasant re-assurance helps, especially if you’re a gadget-bearing hipster, wanting their new iPhone 4 in pearly white.

The signature white front and back panels for the new iPhone have popped up online. The new image matches the detached front piece seen in the many iPhone 4 leaks, and everything (all the holes) seem in-place, but this is still to be proven.

Now, I can only imagine what a fingerprint magnet the iPhone 4 is going to be already, thanks to the glossy flat backing, but in white its going to be a fingerprint vampire!

Again, this is just the internet speaking, and most likely there will be a white version of the iPhone 4 - but what if there wasn’t? Would you freak out?

Breaking: Man tweets for help for his kidnapped son in Thailand

A very serious request: Does anyone have any contacts or friends in the Police here in Bangkok who might be able to help us? Son kidnappedThu May 20 06:05:16 via Twitter for iPhone

Martin Perry (@martinperry) is an tech enthusiast and an Englishmen living in Thailand, but right now he’s a father in a desperate situation to find his kidnapped son. With so much violence going on in Thailand it’s hard to not be surprised by this sorta thing, but his Twitter feed from the last couple of minutes sheds some light on the situation:

@LukeInTH We live in Huay Khwang, but last place he was known to be was Saphan Taksin Soi 8Thu May 20 06:17:50 via Twitter for iPhone

@sahidpram It’s not the red shirts, wife’s family has taken him, we have not seen him for 3 months, he is only 7 months old :-(Thu May 20 06:41:16 via Twitter for iPhone

Review - Official Twitter app for iPhone

You remember Tweetie, right? That peppy little Twitter client for iPhone and iPod touch? - Well, Twitter has purchased Tweetie from atebits, and has now teamed up with the infamous atebits developer (who is now part of Twitter) and they have given it a very snazzy facelift with the addition of what I imagine are features only Twitter can put into an iPhone app. Lets give a round of applause for the lone atebits developer Loren Brichter, who has given us much more than a better Twitter experience.

Uncovered - Foxconn working conditions are horrible

Uncovered - Foxconn working conditions are horrible

This is when we all feel like such losers, because a lot of the consumer products that we use, are doing stuff like this to people. These people are miserable and shockingly 5 of them attempted to commit suicide, early April.

This is so sickening, seeing what men in fancy suites with shiny cufflinks, do to these poor people. They are on their iPhones, planning golfing trips, and spa gettaways for their wives, while these guys do all the dirty work. Shame on you Foxconn - Read more

Brian Lam's Behind the Scenes Email to Steve Jobs about iPhone 4G

Brian Lam sent an email to Steve Jobs during the whole “iPhone 4 fiasco” - and it is very revealing of what the “big plan” was behind the scenes. By the looks of the email, it seems that Gizmodo was holding the iPhone hostage, so that in return they could “work closer with Apple”. It’s a pretty poorly written email to a CEO, and I’m sure our resident grammar Nazi, Ricardo Trejo, would cringe while reading this.

Full email after the break!

Google Wave now Open to the Public

Google Wave now Open to the Public

Well, its here and those of you who have never used Google Wave must be excited, but those of you who have been using it since day one, aren’t really all that excited.

Nevertheless, Google has pushed out Wave to the public, begging for new users, and asking existing users for another chance. I have not used Google wave since January, but while I did, I loved it and you should give it a shot too (just don’t expect to become attached) - Read more

Sneak peek at the new version of Digg

On a lovely Sunday, Kevin Rose made a toot that made us all want to hang out with our own Dads - He was just working on some “Digg stuff” while chillin’ with the old man, and all seemed normal, that is until people started to get a bit curious at what was on his Macbook screen. It seemed to be the good ol’ Digg we know, but when you look reeeely close, you can see that it is something much different…
