Clusterr Beta - Social media organized for you

Yes, this is another glossy, candy coated social media app - and yes it looks to be what happens when Yahoo GeoCities meets Flash on crack, but when you get past the way to shiny interface, you get to the nutty, juicy goodness inside this new web-app, Clusterr. The new startup was lovingly birthed by @badexec (Co-founder of G4) and @kpereira (Television Darling) and has reached its semi-private beta stage. If you visit the site now, its just a form for you to try to get into the beta, and play around. It looks promising, but there is much competition for it to swim against.

Super Geeky Windows Hacks You Need to Know

Super Geeky Windows Hacks You Need to Know

Anyone can sit down at a Windows PC and get along fine, wiggling windows and clicking internets - but when it comes to finely tuning the PC to be fast, optimized and customized, you need the right tips and tricks.

Lifehacker has spent some time playing around with some nifty mods and hacks for Windows 7 by the looks of it, and they range from “secret send menus” to stuff like a nifty way to close Windows Explorer - Read more

Leak reveals what could be HTC's latest batch of device codenames

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen internal codenames leaked via documentation, but just in case tread with caution. An Engadget tipster, Foil — who incidentally claims that he was able to “root out HTC product names like Incredible and Legend months before release” has procured the list you see above. Note the highlighted sections as they contain three names not seen in the wild before: “Glacier,” “LED,” and “Vision.” With no direct confirmation from T-Mobile we can’t be sure, but with the “TMO” typeface next to the latter name, there’s the slight possibility that T-Mobile’s GSM friendly network will experience some sort of vision. Pun aside feel free to speculate, your guess is as good as ours at this point.

Videos - inside the horrid Foxconn factories

Videos - inside the horrid Foxconn factories

Thank you Engadget! - They just took the entire article from Southern Weekend, and translated it (with people thank god) so us in America can read it.

The video to the left (halfway through) is a glimpse into the horrid factories, and depressing working conditions that these people suffer through every day. These are the people that make our iPhones, iMacs, and iPods. I don’t know whether to thank these people profusely, or smack Apple and Foxconn in the face. Absolutely going to wreck your morning - Read more

Versace enters the handset game with the Versace Unique

Well, it’s certainly the most unique looking phone we’ve seen in a while. Teaming up with ModeLabs — the company responsible for strapping just about any rare gem imaginable into a handheld — Versace has recently announced its latest, and well first, venture into the realm of touchscreen ooze. Boasting the largest sapphire crystal display ever offered on a consumer device, this gold plated, 3-inch display touting, 5-megapixel camera packing monstrosity is sure to turn a few heads (or several hundred). It’s due to hit stores sometime next month, so you can either start saving your pennies or begin casing Donald Trump’s house (not that we condone breaking and entering); full press release after the break.

Y’know all those koopas you jumped on in between those two familiar green pipes in Super Mario Bros? No? Well, he does.

If you ever wondered what Hell looked like in the Mushroom Kingdom, well, this is the closest thing you’ll probably ever get to discovering it.

Twitter for iPhone Icon Should Have Been This

View full image by GerardoThe new Twitter for iPhone app, as you all have heard is out now, and available to download. Most of you already know that this new app was origionaly “Tweetie”, the super popular iPhone app by Loren Brichter, and it was later bought up by Twitter and renamed “Twitter” (of course).

The gorgeous interface is the same, and there have been a few “exclusive” updates to the app, that only Twitter can apply.

The icon on the other hand is a dud. Its a glossy, fabricated icon, that does not really fit into the “feel” of Twitter, and the traditional look of Tweetie.

Gerardo Diaz over at Dribbble fixed it for us!
