Over the past few weeks there’s been a bit of “heat” between AT&T and Verizon, and Apple is in the middle loving every minute of it. In an age of wireless peripherals, tangled up cords are a thing of the past. Jabra, a company specializing in Bluetooth headsets, has presented us with the Jabra Halo, a pair of wireless headphones, that look like they are straight out of the future. Whether you like it or not, tablets are most definitely here to stay — which can be attributed thanks in part to their natural touch interface, performance of low-intensive computing, and most importantly, ability to bridge the gap between smartphones and desktops. Continuing to boom, one key supplier to OEMs, Corning, announced that the tablet market is growing at an inordinate rate.
While there weren’t any Olympic runners hurling objects at a mind-numbing speech done by Steve Jobs, Motorola was able to capture a little bit of the charm that made Apple’s “1984” Super Bowl ad such a hit it originall was.
Artsy? Yes. Message taken? Absolutely. Will people get it? Probably not.
