LulzSec Hacks Black & Berg and turns down $10,000 prize - "we did it for the lulz"

Most men hack stuff because there is a greater cause, a reward or profit, and sometimes for close and personal reasons. Some men even take down entire online empires (Amazon, Paypal, Playstation) to make a point and start a fire. But some men aren’t looking for profit, self-gain or world fame. Some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn… for the lulz.

E3 2011 -- Streets run red in Bloodrayne: Betrayal for XBLA and PSN

Rayne is back, and this time not in another horribly adapted film by Uwe Boll. No, this time she’ll be starring in a 2D side-scrolling, highly visual title for PSN and XBLA known as Bloodrayne: Betrayal. Interesting that with the vampire craze going on right now in Hollywood, the gaming world has surprisingly kept mum, sticking to zombies instead; Betrayal releases in August for download

Useful ideas for Nintendo Wii U and how we'd use it

The new Nintendo Wii U was announced at E3 2011 and it’s been the buzz of the conference. Not much of the actual console was shown, but the new controller was front and center — but here is the dilemma. Nintendo rolled tons of trailers, developer interviews and gameplay footage for the Wii U at their press conference, but there was no sign of a demo. Since we’re missing that part, here are some examples I’ve designed of how the Wii U could prove useful in a verity of games.

Geoff Keighley asks every single question you wish you could ask Nintendo about Wii U - (Video Interview)

When Nintendo finished up their press conference yesterday they left most of us with a ton of unanswered Wii U questions. There was no information whatsoever spoken of the actual console unit, its specs, or even its online capabilities, with all attention being directed toward the new touch screen controller. Gametrailer’s Geoff Keighley however, got a chance to sit with Nintendo of America’s President Reggie Fils-Aime and ask pretty much every question you wish you could ask him. — More after the break!

E3 2011 -- Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is an action RPG with strategy at its core

From some of the minds responsible for a number of the Elder Scrolls games, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was once thought of to be a future MMO experience. However after some thought, the game has been redesigned as a single-player based aciton-RPG experience that’ll have players roaming distinct regions across a vast world, with a heavy focus on strategy to survive the adventure.

E3 2011 -- From Dust is the God game that will ease your soul

It’s easy to think of Peter Molyneux whenever the word “God game” comes up. His work on games such as Populous and Black & White paved the way for the Sims and other releases of the sort. From Dust is said to be a “spiritual successor” to Populous, taking elements from it and expanding upon them. The player’s goal will be to reshape environment arround them to save and enlighten a tribe of nomadic people. — Gameplay video after the break!

E3 2011 -- Shinobi on 3DS ninja stars some live gameplay

The Shinobi series, while very popular years ago, hasn’t been heard of in recent years — at least not since the self-titled PS2 version (2001) and its spin off Nightshade (2002) were released. But with the launch of the 3DS, Sega has decided to revisit the franchise, opting for an old school side-scrolling adventure with 3-dimensional elements.
