The Okay Geek Show - Episode 4 (E3 Special)

We have been underground bashing our keyboards and inhaling coffee for the past two weeks covering E3 2011 which has been a blast, but a lot of hard work. We haven’t released a show in a while, so we only thought it was fair to present an E3 2011 special (we talk about Apple stuff near the end) full of analysis of everything that happened, and a breakdown of everything that was released… also, OnLive is awesome.

Sony offering PS3 users 6 months of Qriocity for free

There’s been a whole lot of talk between the guys around the Okay Geek office about which streaming music service (Google’s Music Beta or Apple’s iCloud) we think is the best option to go with. Well, we were pretty unaware that Sony has had one for a while in Qriocity. Yeah, y’know that service that Sony kept talking about during the PSN outage which nobody really knew what it was about? Well, it’s actually a front for another service called Music Unlimited that gives you access to 7 million songs from all the major labels and allows you to stream them to multiple devices. And now Sony is offering 6 months free of the music streaming service to PS3 users. — Details after the break!

Voice Search for Google - (Video)

Similar to the way search functions on Android phones, you can now search Google with your voice. Release on Monday, it will take “several days” for it to become available for everyone. From my experience while using it on Android, it works suprisingly well.

Real life Transformers created from old auto parts

Transformers could be one of the coolest things ever created, but the sad fact is that we will probably never see any real, earth-saving Transformers in our lifetime. If I could own a car that transformed into a robot, I would be the coolest person alive — but what if you had the next best thing? What if you spent years to create life-sized transformers out of spare auto parts, and then had them sent to Ripley’s “Believe it or not” museums all over the world? Well, Anchalee Saengtai has in fact created these bots and you just have to get a look at them after the break!

Crytek says Xbox's 360 successor will be shown at E3 2012, will demo Timesplitters 4

Crytek’s gone from a PC-only developer to one who’s now breaking news on next-gen home consoles. How quickly the tides turn once it’s all about money. So is there any truth to this rumor goin’ round? Judge for yourself, but that snazzy Wii-U wannabe design looks pretty original, right?! — Details after the break!

Robin Williams stars in charming Ocarina of Time 3D commercial - (Video)

If there ever was ever a huge Zelda fan it would be Robin Williams and his daughter named Zelda Williams. Yup, Robbie named his daughter Zelda, and you’d think she’d hate having that name, but she appears to be pretty happy in the commercial. Mad respect Captain Williams…

What is a Pinza? Well, it has to be the classiest cable holder on the face of the planet! Constructed from a single chunk of stainless steel, this cord holder does its job quite well but wears a price tag of $12. Twelve bucks to hold your cords down ain’t cheap so is it worth it? — Our review after the break!
