Want to see how each state varies in speed when downloading games or patches?

When it comes to online gaming there’s nothing more critical than your online speed. But where does your state stack up when compared to the rest of the USA? — (yeah, we’re singling out the yankees right now. Sorry, world) — Pando Networks, the content provider for such popular MMO’s like Maple Store, Lord of the Rings Online, and League of Legends went ahead and did a full scale comparison to see who’s got the fastest speeds when it comes to downloading games and/or patches. The Oatmeal's "State of the Web" - Google+, Netflix and Apple fall victim

We all read the expert analysis on “the state of the web” and we can all agree, things are going pretty well for the most part. Something we often forget though is how redicolous things get. After countless press releases and a series of public appearances, Facebook’s idolized CEO Mark Zuckerberg has made it pain stakingly obvious that he thinks the company does NOT need an iPad app and will not be releasing. Many speculations have come about as to Facebook releasing an iPad app but nothing has had an incredulous evidence, the closest we have gotten was the last Facebook press conference introducing Video Calling. Today we have something with actual alive evidence, evidence that you can actually get your hands on. Something that Facebook has reassured will never happens seems to be in the works of happening. MG Siegler states in a recent update that he pushed out that his sources state this is the version of the iPad app that Facebook plans to release.

How every Okay Geek Show starts - Video

Unfortunately, this is how every Okay Geek starts — this is the pre-show where we ramble about what we want the show to be, we do Mic checks about a thousand times and we try to start the show but we run into complications like what we had for lunch, why IE sucks or “what were we talking about again?”
