Apple TV gets Vimeo and TV show streaming (iOS 4.3)

Apple has released a new update (iOS 4.3) for the Apple TV (2G) this morning which brings Vimeo to the big screen and TV show viewing bliss (although this is still a tad foggy at the moment). I have just updated my Apple TV and I can say it’s not an extravagant update by any means, and I’m not sure if it fixes some issues I was having before — but it’s still an exciting update!

Study Claims That Consumers Want Amazon Branded Tablet

A recent study issued by Retrevo claims that many consumers would favour an Amazon branded tablet should one arrive. According to the study, Retrevo found that many consumers are interested in cheaper tablet options, and if a viable alternative to Apple’s market dominating iPad were to come about, it could very well be a serious competitor.

Really cool Social Media propaganda posters

Back when America was trying to get young men to enlist in the army to head out to war, they used posters like this — posters that forced emotion and empowerment. Today, it feels as if the same is happening with social media, and people being devided into factions of sorts. Sometimes the Google+ people slam on the Facebook people, and sometime the Twitter people bash the Google+ people — but it always seems like a competition between social networks to gain your mindshare.
