Scumbag Facebook blocks posting Google+ links and invites

As if things couldn’t get worse for the Google+ & Facebook friendly rival, today news breaks that Facebook has figured out a clever way to prevent you from sharing links to Google+ and G+ invites. What happens is Facebook accepts the post as a normal link post, and adds it to your wall. Everything is fine and dandy, but the kicker is that the post is only visible to you, so you think you’ve shared the post publickly when in reality nobody else can see it. This is a new low for Facebook. What are they, 6 years old? Wait, nevermind…

Watch a patent war between two companies unfold - Video

The patent system is a joke — nobody with great ideas can ever dream of competing in the tech world. Once they have something cool, the big guys are already assembling their legal teams to bring the smaller company to their knees, take their patents and use them for protection after swiftly slapping them in the face, and walking away with a smirk on their face — And that’s what grinds my gears.

First look of Dr. Strange and Nemesis gameplay in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 - (Video)

So we get our 4th Resident Evil character but Mega Man still didn’t make the cut? That’s some shady stuff there Capcom! Either way, Nemesis looks like he’s a combo between Sentinal and Hulk, and Dr. Strange appears to be a little more versatile, being able to juggle, teleport, and throw down some pretty practical super’s — All this footage brought to you by GamesCom.

Battlefield 3 Gamescom Multiplayer Trailer Shows Why People are Excited

DICE has gone above and beyond when it comes to crafting Battlefield 3 — the destructible environment, the way the windows bounce off the hood of your jeep as you race to the battle-zone, dried water-spots on your goggles, or the sound of a jet as it peppers the skies with hot lead — people aren’t so much excited about the game itself anymore, they’re excited about feeling it. There’s an undertone in this game (from what we’ve seen) that goes far beyond normal game mechanics and the rush we’ve gotten from FPS’s for the past decade.

Nintendo patenting single-player MMO concept

The title can be a little hard to understand but it’s exactly how it sounds; Nintendo has applied for a concept that would allow the world of a game be subjected to the decisions players have made across the globe, however the game itself would be a single-player experience. The only thing that makes it MMO is the shared world that changes dependant on the actions of its players. Did somebody say Pokemon? — More after the break!
