Does social media use compromise the security of your home? -- (Infographic)

For the most part, if you read this blog then you more than likely are familiar with status updates, as well as checking into places — using either an iPhone or a number of other devices. But have you ever stopped to wonder the dangers of what it means to say “yes” to disclosing your current location to the rest of the world? Well, how about that everyone now knows you’re not home. It’s a pretty humbling thought, something that might make you feel a little uneasy. This infographic should help you understand just how careful you should be in sharing location info in a status update. — More after the break!

CableJive dockBoss+ review

The concept of the dockBoss+ is simple. Back in the days of the iPod, you bought an expensive audio dock for it that uses Apple’s proprietary 30 pin connector. FingerFlux lets you feel touch screens before actually touching them -- (Video)

Siri hacked to work on iPhone 4 and iPod touch

The iPhone 4S may be twice as fast as its predecessor and also feature a pretty sweet camera, capable of shooting at 1080p resolutions, but the reason why anyone was really convinced to fork over the extra cash for the new handset was the introduction of the Siri voice-activated personal assistant app. But why is it that it was only available for the 4S when technically it could run on the current iPhone 4? Well, someone decided to test out this theory, and you can guess the results. — More after the break!

ITG's xpPhone 2 will run Windows 8

In Technology Group, the Chinese company responsible for merging the smartphone-Windows PC user experience, has once again combined both the realms of Microsoft’s Windows desktop operating system, and the ultra-portable smartphone. This time, the company has created what they are calling the “post-smartphone” - similar to xpPhone’s of old, ITG is in the works to release the xpPhone 2 - a smartphone that is poised to run both Windows 7 and Microsoft’s yet to be released, PC version of Windows 8. — More after the break!

Zeebox makes watching TV sound exciting again - Video

We’ve seen a lot of apps that have done the whole “social cable TV” thing, but we think Zeebox has hit the nail on the head in a number of areas that similar services haven’t thought to seek out. Twitter integration is cool, but the fact that Zeebox can pull in realtime, useful information for the show you are watching (even music) is really exciting. We can’t wait for this to arrive in North America!
