Hulu Plus coming to Android "in coming months"

Well, here’s an interesting tid bit fresh from Samsung’s 2011 CES keynote. Hulu Plus premium streaming service has finally been confirmed for Android handsets — although currently there’s no promises on when it’ll hit the Marketplace. We do know however, that you’ll need to have a device running Android 2.2 or higher as well as, have said phone on Hulu’s list of approved devices (sigh). Android 2.2 delayed for the Samsung Epic 4G

If you were standing by your Epic 4G waiting for Android 2.2.1 to hit (aka. Froyo) well, you’re going to have to keep on waiting. The update which was due to bring Flash Player 10.1, improved GPS functionality, voice dialling through Bluetooth, improved Bluetooth support, and the added ability to install apps to memory cards was originally touted for a December 26th release. However, low and behold no update was dropped on Boxing Day / Bank Day / Other Nominal Post Christmas Holiday. Instead, Sprint employees are being told to refute a planned December 26th release, while explaining to nosey customers that there’s no “firm delivery date,” and that it’ll “be available in the near future.”
