We all hope that project Natal will be released by the end of this year, but their are still many secrets. Natal lead developer Alex Kipman has leaked some information on the project like how the team has gathered terabytes of photos and video of people playing games. He also said the system can predict where your next move will be based on where other body parts are located. He also indicated that the software will take up 50mb of your Xbox's hard drive space and 10 to 15 percent of the 360's overall processing power. Some think that's a lot of space and power but I think that's almost nothing to do what it's doing. Hopefully this works like the commercials and demos show unlike past attempts at things like this.
Believe it or not Lady Gaga (oh, oh, ah-ah-ah-ah) showed up for CES 2010 and she was there to announce the new Product (RED) line of headphones from Dr Dre, and also to announce that they will be selling them with a copy of her modified version of Pokerface.

CES 2010 has been tablet-ville and for a good reason, every single company it seems is trying to steal Apples thunder for their release of the Apple tablet on January 26th, but the question is, are these any good? This one seems to be ok -- This 7-inch tablet runs Android 2.0 and armed with Wifi -- but there is no Bluetooth or GPS to be seen. On the top there was a SIM card slot as well as a microSD card slot for extra storage. There is also an HDMI out port around the side which is a nice touch.
Even though it is "pretty cool" it still is plauged with issues -- like its rocking a resistive touchscreen instead of a capacitive one. Also, even though it has the next-gen Tegra chip inside, Engadgets experience with the slate was pretty awkward.

We hate hearing stories like this, but we have to realize that every cable coming out of your PC usually carries an electric charge, and if a little guy gets a hold of it, this could happen. A little toddler by the name of Trinity is at the hospital with 3rd degree burns on her tongue and lips and being subjected to paralyzing to prevent her from moving, and disturbing the breathing tube. Grandpa Jeffrey Anderson says "I want to make it better and there's nothing I can do, She needs the tube because her tongue is so swollen it blocks her airway".
Anderson said doctors plan to allow Trinity to revive to consciousness in the next day or two to assess how much neurological damage occurred. This was clearly something that no little kid should ever have to experience, ever. Keep your cables tidy and lets hope for the best! Good luck Trinity!

The Skylight is part netbook, part smartphone, and I think it's part Frisbee. The real question is if that makes it a game-changer or just another toy. The device seems to look more of a children's toy then anything else. The design of the device is an ultra thin clamshell design and weighs less than two pounds-like i said, a Frisbee. It's a sturdy build, though it seems like it could take being tossed around in your backpack. More after the break.
