Who says you can't have a pet dragon?

Who says you can't have a pet dragon?

Flamboyant, vivacious, exciting — All words we could’ve chosen to describe the latest in animatronic pet dragon wares; instead we’ll just say that its phantasmagorical and leave it at that.

Got a knack for metal work and saving beautiful women from the clutches of evil? If so, then why not build your very own? After all, ladies dig men that can rescue them from a dragon’s lair. Don’t believe us, just ask Mario. - Read More

“Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars” - It’s one of the most quoted songs on Facebook right now. Bobby Ray, aka B.O.B., has been growing in popularity this year. And with his first hit single Nothin On You ft. Bruno Mars, things are looking up for the artist.

Video - Social Networks of Real Life

Social networks are mainly thought of as products of this modern time; Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter are usually the big three people think of. But what people don’t realize is that there are social networks outside of the internet that far more important weight heavily on your day to day patterns.

Your real social network, made up of relatives, friends, co-workers, acquaintances, and so on, affect your life so much that your own image of self, your thoughts, and emotions are all dependent upon the connections you’ve made through out your life. Not only that, but also the connections your connections have made (a friend of a friend of a friend) do the same thing!

Verizon to offer LTE handsets and tablets by May 2011

We all know that Sprint’s going to be bringing the first 4G handset to American consumers, but what of their CDMA carrier competition? Basically, Verizon’s Wireless Chief Lowell McAdam says that consumers can expect “up to” five handsets by May 2011. That’s a rather ambitious task if you ask us, but then again they do have an entire year to make it happen. Who may you ask is manufacturing Verizon’s LTE devices? Well from what we’ve read, HTC, LG, Motorola and RIM are all ready to serve up the first batch of LTE handsets on a gilded platter. However, what we don’t know is whether these devices will make phone calls over Verizon’s CDMA bands or LTE’s GSMA friendly voice services. Let’s hope it’s the latter, but either way it’s all good.

The LTE goodness doesn’t stop there either: According to McAdam “there’s no reason [the company] couldn’t have an iPad.” — Okay, so it’s not really an iPad, however, their first batch of tablets are due to be Android-based, and similar to the aforesaid handset makers they’re due to include  “Motorola, Samsung and LG.” Imagine that: Android tablets browsing at the speed of LTE. Best of all? These tablets are believed to hit stores in the fourth quarter.

The Seamless iPhone 4G - Pictures

iChan over at the MacRumors forum did some Photoshopping and came up with this - a version of the iPhone 4G with no seams, and man oh man does it look better! Our buddy @tyler_thompson tweeted this out a couple days ago, and I don’t know why I didn’t write about it sooner! It is a breath of fresh air to see the iPhone 4G without those ugly seams, and hopefully they will be gone in the final release.

When the 4G was leaked, it had screws on the bottom too, but when another one was found, the screws were gone - indicating that Apple is making some last minute changes, and hopefully they will give this one some serious thought…

How iPad affected Apples other Products

How iPad affected Apples other Products

Well, the stats are in, and the iPad seems to be kicking ass - having sold over 1 million units in the first month, +1 (with mine on the way). The thing is though, some of the ass it is kicking is Apple’s own products, but is that a bad thing?

Sure, iPod sales are down 17%, according to this chart, and iPhone sales have not been mentioned, but strangely Mac sales are up 39% - Read more
