Hands On With Facebook Video Chat

Facebook is launching a new feature which has been going around in the rumor mill for quite some time, and that is the long awaited Facebook Video Chat. Facebook has teamed up with Skype to allow users to video chat right in Facebook. Video chat with friends is not the only enhancement to Facebook’s chat feature, Facebook is also rolling out Group Chat. These features are now available (by enabling them) to all of Facebook’s 750 million members, in addition they will be rolling out as default over the next few weeks.

Captain Kirk encounters Nyan Cat - Video

Deep in space in a time far away from here, the USS Enterprise is taking course through uncharted worlds, boldy going where no man has gone before — until a rouge transmission from the past finds it’s way on to Scanner 5-7 aboard Captain Kirk’s Ship. It isn’t long before the crew meets their newest rival — Nyan Cat…

Nintendo: Wii U will do stereoscopic 3D but it won't be our focus

While Nintendo’s 3DS handheld is all about displaying all 3-Dimensions without the use of glasses, they’re not too keen on bringing that experience to the home console. In fact, their big executive sort of just shrugged it off in a, “yes, it will have that feature but it’s not a big deal,” quote. Pretty surprising stuff, especially to some who may have thought that Nintendo would forego it entirely. — More details after the break!

'E3: More Than Games' is an elegant tale of E3 2011 - (Video)

Done by the creative minds over at Collective Visual, this video highlights not the games or the announcements of the biggest video game trade show of the year. Oh no, but rather it takes a better look into the individuals who make the trip and walk the showfloor and beg the question: “What does E3 mean to you?”

Youtube gets an awesome new re-design (how to enable it)

Youtube has just announced that a new user experience has creeped into the Beta labs on Youtube. It’s essentially a visual overhaul with no real features added, but the way the new layout works is really slick, and feels a lot like the mobile site, with larger buttons. The new player is really nice also, and the entire site seems to have been blacked out — more screenshots after the break, and how you can enable it!

Griffin iClear case review (for iPod Classic)

Apple products were meant to be shown off without ugly cases and whatnot covering their industrial designs. While protective films are the ideal solution for many users, others will require something a bit more solid. The Griffin iClear is a two piece hard shell case, custom molded for a variety of products. — Our full review after the break!

Breaking rulers with newspaper and air - Video

We know this isn’t that tech related, but sometimes something is too cool to ignore — now, wouldn’t it be awesome to ask your friends to bet in on this? I’m pretty sure that most people wouldn’t think the sheer air vacuum underneath a newspaper (of all things) would break a ruler — they would be wrong, and you would be richer!
