It’s become as important as food to some people, and seemingly more important to others — and what I am talking about is the cellphone. Ever since its introduction in 1973 as the worlds first “practical” handset, the cellphone has taken the world by storm and has now become a necessity if you want to live the day to day life of the average Joe. Skip forward 37 years and the chart below finally makes sense — this is how the world uses their mobile phones.

Windows 7 gets ported to a Fusion Garage JooJoo

Imagine the Fusion Garage JooJoo, but only slightly cooler — yeah, and by JooJoo standards that “coolness” is equal to a snowman in the Kalahari. Nevertheless, darkdavy (whom, may we congratulate for actually purchasing a JooJoo) felt that his restrictive web browser only based tablet was, well… too restrictive. So, what’s a boy to do? Well, if you want to follow in the footsteps of darkdavy, you may want to slap a freshly primed copy of Windows 7 on there. Using only the JooJoo’s stock hardware, he was able to create to a device with quote “flawless” 720p movie playback. He’s also noted that the only major drawbacks are lack of support for the accelerometer and inbuilt 3G modem, but other than that everything’s just peachy. Oh, and if you’re thinking that this is just some sort of pipe-dream, then hop past the break for some concrete proof.
