Valve's Spoof Apple ads - Steam coming to the Mac?

Valve has not even touched the PS3, and we thought that was weird. Now the company has decided to push out these really awesome ads that are clearly related to Apple, and vividly depicts everything steam, on a Mac. All the ads after the break...

Apple Store Employees receive the iPad March 10

Just like us, Apple store employees are excited about the iPad and now they get some hands on action March 10th - This will be around the time training begins for the device, and this is no-longer a rumor!

The Examiner not only heard this from inside sources, but confirmed it with an Apple Store manager in Southern California who wishes not to be named, so this is for sure a go.

Some other key points and dates to take note of are that commercials, which will emphasize eBook capabilities, will start airing on March 15.

The actual release date hasn't been set, but March 26 is very likely, but the 3G versions won't be available until April or May so get ready to either jump the gun and be first in line, or wait for the 3G... then be the first in line again.

The reason why you want to be the first in line is because people who camp out for the iPad launch will receive a "special gift."

LEGO Stop Motion - The Force Unleashed

You've seen those crappy LEGO stop motion animations before - but this is anything but crappy, it is a masterpiece. Have you ever seen Depth Of Feild put to use in a LEGO stop motion before? Have you ever seen a LEGO stop motion with Lightsabres edited in like they did in the real movie? Well, now you have and it is freaking awesome!

Video: Halo Reach Multiplayer Beta Footage

I’m not THAT big into the whole Halo universe. I mean, I’ve played all the games but I only dabble in the multiplayer modes for a little fun now and then. BUT I know a ton of you out there eat this stuff up, so here ya go - the Halo: Reach Multiplayer Beta trailer.

The beta hits May 3rd, 2010 with a ton of new features and additions that you can kiss playing Halo 3 goodbye. As for me, it looks interesting and I may give it a shot.

Breaking: Could this QWERTY slider be a new BlackBerry handset?

Once again proving that leaked photos are never taken in-focus, the mobile community was graced with what appears to be a new Blackberry device -- to be more specific, a portrait QWERTY slider. At the moment Blackberry Leaks isn’t able to confirm whether the aforementioned photos are indeed authentic, however, they are speculating that this could be the Storm 3. Opposing this, Kevin Michaluk of CrackBerry suggested that this may be an internal mockup that found it's way to the Internet in a similar manner to the Magnum. -- Stay tuned for more information.

Nokia gets less creative, announces four smartphone classes

With Nokia wishing to push S60 down the ranks into the realm of low-end smartphones/feature-phones, the Finnish company was left with no other choice than to subdivide their current smartphone ranking system. Low and behold we’re granted with the CSeries, XSeries, ESeries and NSeries.  Apart from the slight subdivision, Nokia has also opted to rank handsets in a numerical order from 1-9; 1 being the lowest rated in terms of price, specifications and features and 9 being the highest in terms of price, specifications and features [...]

Some Strange Things Are Happening in Portal

Today we also see some interesting news in the form of a Steam update for Portal. Many people on the Steam forums have uncovered a new acheivement, and strange radio messages when carrying an in-game radio to certain locations. When you find a particular location, you hear very short and quick audio files sounding like data dumps, transmissions, and technical talk, which many people are guessing means that a certain murderous AI from the game may be reawakening!

If you interested in speculating amongst others, there is a Steam forum post by Darth Tealc and another by Coffeecup showing off all the cryptic messages and pictures you can find amongst the game's files as well as a video showing off one such message (shown above)

What could be happening in Aperture Science? Could this be the beginning to the long awaited Portal 2 announcement - Or is it something else?
