6 minute prologue to Dark Knight Rises will air before IMAX screenings of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

It’s pretty safe to say that Dark Knight Rises is the most anticipated film of 2012 by far. It’s predecessor became the third most grossing box office smash, third only to Titanic and Avatar — both creations of James Cameron. This next installment is sure to be one to watch for, and especially due to its interesting choice in its cast and villains (Catwoman and Bane primarily). We’re strapped for any new information we can get our hands on, and thankfully we’ll soon see our first real look at what the finale in the Batman Begins trilogy holds. — More after the break!

Whether you’re a fan of anime or not, it’s hard to deny the magic and wonder you feel when you watch a Studio Ghibli production. New Okay Geek - The blog we've always wanted (Announcement)

Three years ago I started a new blog, and for months I had absolutely no clue what I was doing. There was no sense of it going anywhere because it was basically me rambling on (incoherently) about technology, all by myself. Quite literally, it may have been the worst technology blog on the internet and knowing that I was just going to throw in the towel, but not a moment too soon I noticed something important. All of the worlds most loved blogs and publications all have one thing in common, and that’s a team. I didn’t see myself as a leader and I had no concept of running a 10 person team. I also didn’t know we’d be here together, 3 years later, with something this amazing to show everyone.

Here at Okay Geek, we’re pretty big fans of messenger bags and backpacks for toting around our laptops. But sometimes we need something a little sleeker and more form fitting. Featuring materials such as double layer neoprene and fleece, how’s the Impax as a sleeve? — Our full review after the break!

Nest - The thermostat that geeks wanted the entire time - Video

So, yeah it’s a thermostat that looks pretty and it saves you money (a lot byt the sounds of it), but here’s why we’re excited about the Nest Thermostat — once you have one of these little Nests, you basically have a little robot taking care of your house while you out, and it learns from you - I mean, how rad is that? - Nest should be available soon and retail for $249.

Apple TV Sets now have prototypes according to component supplier

When Steve Jobs passed away early this month, we knew he had left unfinished work behind and sadly, we imagine the majority of that was still in his head. Ideas that will never be brought to life. Something that cought our eye though is some information that had popped up recently, a quote from Steve Jobs in his biography, outlining his plans for a television set - More after the break!
