Earlier today Mozilla, the company known for such applications as Firefox and Thunderbird, announced its plans to build a ChromeOS-inspired operating system for mobile devices. The mobile operating system, which at present is being referred to as ‘Boot to Gecko’ (B2G), will be built upon an Android based core.
When Apple set out to create the iPhone, I highly doubt they believed it would one day be dropped from 13,500 feet. As avid skydiver Jarrod McKinney recently discovered, Apple’s fourth generation iPhone is far sturdier than most would believe. Well that was fast! Just several hours after Apple announced their latest build of iOS and distributed said OS in beta form to developers, Musclenerd and Co were able to jailbreak iOS 5 on a fourth generation iPod Touch. According to current information, the jailbreak was achieved through an exploit in the limera1n jailbreak.
With the announcement of Nintendo’s latest gaming console, the Nintendo Wii U, company big wig Reggie Fils-Amie told website GameTrailers in an interview that the reel of demo games shown off during Nintendo’s press conference were not that of Wii U gameplay. Instead, when asked whether the footage came from PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, Reggie stated, “absolutely, because we’re talking a year away from when the console will launch.” — Details after the break!
