Video: Symbian^3 officially announced

In the modern mobile era, Symbian along with Windows Mobile to name a few, is considered to be an antiquated operating system -- Especially when compared with the likes of Android and WebOS. In an attempt to recapture its youth, Symbian has undergone a facelift. The end result being a revitalised, moisturized S^3.

Taking queues from other platforms, i.e. Apple's iPhone, Palm's WebOS, and Google's Android, Symbian^3 attempts to bring you a full blown widget enabled, multitouch touting, cover flow browsing experience. Focusing on the overall user experience appears to be the main goal here, however like the Windows Phone 7 Series, how functional is it actually going to be?

Swipe Gesture Passwords Wreck Your Screen

Remember when you started using the "Gesture Lock Screen" on Android, Blackberry, or Jailbroken iPhone? You were in love! Well, you better start washing your hands and stop using mango hand scrub cream because now all a guy has to do to break into your phone is tilt the screen towards the light and reveal the patterned smudges; thus giving them the method to unlocking your phone. Also, it looks disgusting.

Wait, Don't Buy A New Macbook Pro Just Yet

According to recent screenshots, it appears Best Buy is carrying some type of new Apple product named "Apple Dummy SKU". The records show they have an "In Stock Date" of March 14th for the product in question.

Last year AppleInsider received a similar screenshot the previous year, but it included a valid UPC code, unlike this one. Another difference is that last year's screenshot stated the "In Stock Date" was May 31st, 2009 but was actually released May 27th. Personally, I'm hoping for a Mac Pro because it's Apple's top of the line machines and a new one is due. The Macbook Pro line is also mentioned in the speculation as it's at the end of its cycle and is due for an update.

t3ch Review: Cordctrl

Headphones are one of man’s greatest inventions, however, the wires attached to them have been nothing but a nuisance for millions around the world. Portability is awesome but how exactly are you supposed to wrap up those wires without’em getting tangled up? There are various ways on how to do that but wouldn’t it just be easier if there was some sort of product or device that could do it for you? CordCTRL believes it’s the answer to that question.

Street Fighter 3 Characters Debut in Super Street Fighter 4

We knew they were coming, the leak came last night, but now we have actual video evidence of the stunning new looks and moves of the characters taken right out of Street Fighter 3. The French boxer Dudley, Ninja Ibuki, and Karate expert Makoto are all welcome faces to the more hardcore fans of the series, and gives them (the fans) a definite reason to basically buy the same game, but with extra add-ons, just released about a year ago.

Capcom, we know you want our money, and y'know what... you can have it - this is awesome. Now for just the one more unannounced character (Hakan) to make his way into the game and we'd have every single one of these leaks confirmed. I wonder if Capcom ever found out who gave out this info and fired him?
