Now, netbook tablet convertibles aren’t something new, in fact they’ve been around for quite some time now; however, as you’d expect most of them were just plane buggy and downright unusable. “But, what about a sliding netbook tablet convertible” you say? Well, here’s an interesting tid bit fresh from Samsung’s 2011 CES keynote. Hulu Plus premium streaming service has finally been confirmed for Android handsets — although currently there’s no promises on when it’ll hit the Marketplace. We do know however, that you’ll need to have a device running Android 2.2 or higher as well as, have said phone on Hulu’s list of approved devices (sigh). At least with Netflix coming to Android soon, now’s never been a better time to jump on the Google bandwagon.
CES has always been a flutter with tablet accessories, however, this year Dexim’s latest ware has managed to catch everyone’s attention. At their very own booth on the Las Vegas showroom floor, Dexim — who for those that don’t know, manufacturer a slew of accessories for iOS devices, Android handsets, and Blackberry’s — have shown off a Bluetooth keyboard case hybrid for the iPad 2. — More details after the break!
Feeling like you’ve seen this before? That’s because technically you have. Remembering back to CES 2010, Lenovo displayed what originally looked like a very intriguing product, the U1 Hybrid — a laptop by day, and a tablet by night (or at least when you detached the screen from the shell). Not too shabby, but this year the company’s come back with yet another hybrid and this time its running a mix of Windows 7 and Android. — More details after the break!
