Apple pulls VLC Media Player from iTunes app store

Apple’s won this round: Earlier today, the Cupertino giant pulled VLC Media Player from their iTunes app store. Sure, the open-source VideoLAN developer was currently in the process of suing Apple due to differing end user agreements — more specifically VLC’s General Public License and Apple’s AppStore Terms and Agreements — but, hey it’s a striking blow for media playback on all supported iOS devices. — More after the break!
